Please make sure Steam Overlay is enabled for Battlerite
- Open the Steam client > Click on Steam in the top left corner > Settings > Click In-Game.
- Check the box for "Enable Steam Overlay while in-game".
- Go to your Steam Library > Right-click on Battlerite > Click on Properties > Click General.
- Check the box for "Enable Steam Overlay while in-game".
If Steam overlay is already enabled
First try to completely exit Battlerite and Steam, and try your purchase again.
If you are still unable to make a purchase, ensure the game is not running in Administrator or with elevated permissions as this can cause the overlay to not work.
To do so, you’ll need to locate the .exe (typically found in the Steam Battlerite folder: ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Battlerite)
Once you have located the .exe, click it and select ‘Properties’ and then the ‘Compatibility’ tab. Make sure ‘Run this program as an administrator’ is unchecked.
Other solutions
You could also try again after verifying your game files. You may follow these steps to do so: Steam > Right-click on Battlerite > Properties > Local files > Verify integrity of game files
Please try purchasing Gems/Diamonds. If the issue persists, please turn off the game and submit a ticket with your output log immediately.
You can find the output log if you go to your Steam Library > Right-click on Battlerite > Properties > Local files > Browse local files > Battlerite_Data -- the file is called "output_log"
